Marcia Effron

Hi, I'm Marcia, a UX Designer passionate about bridging creativity and technology to craft meaningful, impactful experiences. From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the intersection of art and design, and how it shapes the way we interact with the world around us. My first exposure to art was at an early age with my uncle who was a mechanical engineer and an artist. I learned to mix acrylic colors. My mom was a graphic designer at a local newspaper and by 11, I was on my mom's computer designing little home drawings and simple tasks. At the newspaper I would help my mom locate graphics and add them to her collection. This fascination led me to explore the dynamic art scenes in New York, where I deepened my understanding of how design transforms everyday experiences. Whether in galleries or the streets, each form of expression fueled my curiosity to explore the balance between aesthetics and functionality, ultimately guiding me toward my calling in UX design.

In my approach to UX design, I focus on empathy and collaboration, always striving to understand the unique needs and perspectives of users. Through thoughtful user research and iterative testing, I create intuitive solutions that not only meet expectations but exceed them. I am committed to blending form and function, refining designs until they work seamlessly for users while creating meaningful interactions.

Outside of design, I love experimenting with interior design concepts, developing gluten-free recipes, and designing activity books and notebooks. For me, the best experiences come from curiosity and creativity coming together. If you’re a fellow designer, a potential collaborator, or someone who shares a love for art and technology, I’d love to connect!
